Sad news from BambiLion

Hello lovelies!

Hanna here, doing my first ever blog post!

Firstly is a bit of sad news from BambiLion headquarters. Unfortunately from now on, Erin will no longer be personally involved in the business. It is very sad to see her go, but she'll always be an honorary member of the BambiLion family. I just wanted to say a big thank you to lovely Erin who helped shape Bambi into what it is today. It'll be hard without her and I'll miss her SO much, but she's moving in a different direction now and I wish her the best of luck! Plus we're still best friends, so I can't complain too much!

In relation to this big announcement, I have another one brewing. Watch this space!

I'll be doing blog posts much more frequently from now on, with lots of exciting things like big sales (yes, a big one closer to Xmas is planned... I'm talking MASSIVE savings) and competitions.

To end on a cheerier note, here are some more photos of our stunning model Miss Samii La' Morte. Some of these were a little cheeky for Facebook, so here they are for you! Samii is wearing our Ice Cream knickers with pasties and a custom pair of knickers with matching pasties (blue stripey). You can follow Samii's adventures here.

New year = full year

Hope you guys all had a super Christmas, now that its the new year it means new products and lots of work for BambiLion!
The Eye masks mentioned in our last post have been a great success with them all being sold last market! we have a whole new stack of one-of-a-kind pretty vintage, silk, and cotton ones so if you missed out last time do not fear.

Our Valentines Day set is complete! pre-orded or come to rose street where we will have two already for sale, a small and medium.
Hanna and i will also be making limited edition Valentines day hand drawn and coloured cards.

Our next Rose street market is on the 23rd January, come and check out our new stock and new market stall look!

Bras, knickers, market, they are my excuse

So i got up to 4 blogs then dissapered from blogger, i know what your thinking "what a lazy crumbum" but my excuse for not writing 7 blogs is really really good, in fact i have 6 excuses!

1. Filling a order for the gorgeous Sideshow Annie Costume Parlour! This knickers and pasties set is called Orient Express. Visit the super pretty shop at 735 Nicholson Street, Carlton North, Vic.


2. Creating a cupped bra. This is one of the first cup bras we have made, it took a bit of time but we think its super cute. Made from pink floral cotton with an overlay of mini fabric roses! Finished with a big white bow.


3. Eye masks! A first for BambiLion, we have made 6 one-of-a-kind cute soft eye masks, some made from cotton, others made from saturn or silk.

4. preparing for our market! Yes another Rose street artists market this sunday the 19th. It's the last chance to come and visit our stall before Christmas!

5. Pretty little stall. Our Rose street stall is going to be easy to find as this week we have made cute flags that say our name: BambiLion Lingerie.

6. Valentines Day. We have completed our red Valentines day set. For a sneak peek come visit us at rose street where we will have it on display. you can even pre-order one for Valentines day.

Yes, we have been quite busy, i think that this longgg post makes up for my broken promis right? RIGHT?

Disaster master!

We were at the Rose street market today for our second time, the sky was blue in the early morning, the air filled with excitement for Christmas, today was going to be a good day.
.......
Unfortunately it rained cats and dogs and rabbits. Lucky for us we had a small shabby umbrella to keep our stock dry, with the exception of all the holes in it giving us the gift of never ending drops. This umbrella was courtesy of rose st but seemed a little out of place among the other forms of "protection from the elements" other stall holders were given. It seems we had the worst spot (i guess someone has to have the dodge area, right?) we had a drain next to us that was overflowing and made a miniature flood at our feet and were the only ones (apart from Mr no umbrella who had a stall next to us) to not have some kind of suitable shield from the rain. Sad to say but we had to leave.

If you missed us this week we will be back to give it another shot next week...well, we have to, we've already paid for the stall...

Im late, Im late, for a very important blog update!

So it't about 11:59pm on Saturday.... i said i would write a blog everyday for a week... I am still keeping to my word (just), and its only the second day!

BambiLion will be at Rose st Artist Market this sunday 12th so make sure you come down to buy all your christmas pressents! We have new knickers and broochers for sale and a special christmas deal with our cards, 5 for $12!

Photoshoot for Bambi!

Hanna and i made our way to the country today for a BambiLion photoshoot where balloons, hoola-hoops, pearls and tea cups were involved, and of course cute knickers!! We can't wait to show you all!

Fragment Squared

Here is something special for all you sydney siders.
Fragment Squared, an exhibition soon to be at Baromiter Galley close to Sydnes CBD includes contemporary textile design from RMIT University.
In short, i attend RMIT, BambiLion has work in there, GO SEE IT!
A selection of screen printed and digitally printed designs are on display, all in the form of unmade knickers... i.n.t.e.r.e.s.t.i.n.g.

Also, go and check out a lot of great new designers who also have work in there and if you go on opening night you get....FREE FOOD! oh my god!

Upon packing up our first market at Rose st, Hanna and i looked at each other and knew, we were both hooked.
The cute layout, the fun atmosphere, the super nice and friendly stall holders, the beautiful sunny weather, i could go on, but i have to do homework so I'll stop... point is... We LOOOOOVED Rose street market! Our next confirmed date for Rose street is the 12th December, perfect time to buy your Christmas presents *wink wink*

This Sunday the 10/10/10 (wow) is our first stall we have at the Rose street artists market! Come down and say hi, you will be able to spot our glorious table of knickers and cute goodies from a mile away!

Laser Puppies
